She is internationally recognized for her work in the legal arena specifically within the context of Civil Liberties, Human Rights and Women\u2019s rights.<\/br><\/br>\n\nShe has practiced law in Botswana for 30 years as public prosecutor, defense counsel, human rights activist and as Justice of the High Court and thus brings an unparalleled breadth of experience to the firm. Since taking early retirement from the High Court bench she has since served as a visiting lecturer of law at Columbia University, Washington and Lee University and University of Cincinnati, as well as served as a judge of the Interim Independent Constitutional Court of Kenya.<\/br><\/br>\n\nUnity Dow was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of Botswana in 1984 and later as a Conveyancer and Notary Public of the High Court of Botswana in 1986.
